NIAAA Webinar Policies



    1. All registrants must be present for at least one of the two live sessions. Attendance is counted by the registrant being logged in to the visual aspect of the presentation. Phone records do not count toward attendance. Registrants will be counted absent if he/she misses more than 15 minutes of a live session.
    2. If a live session is missed, the recording will be sent the next business day and the registrant will have five days to view the recording. If more than one live session is missed, credit for the course will not be given and a refund will not be issued.

    Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

    1. Registration closes at 8 a.m. EST on the morning of the webinar. Payment must be submitted for the course by that time. Only registrants that have paid will receive login instructions.
    2. All requests for course refunds and/or registration modifications must be completed by the end of the final day of registration. Any request made after the registration deadline will not be honored and the registrant will not receive a refund.


    1. All registrants will receive all materials the morning of the first session of the webinar. If the digital book is not downloaded in the 48-hour time frame, another link to download will be sent for a small fee.
    2. The materials provided as well as the live presentation of this course are protected by copyright and are solely for the educational purposes of the NIAAA under license. You may not sell, alter, reproduce or distribute any part of this presentation or the included materials. When provided to you in an electronic format, you may only print it for your own private study and research. Failure to comply with the terms may expose you to legal action for copyright infringement and/or disciplinary action by the NIAAA.

    Credit & Certificates

    1. Credit will not be given until both sessions have been completed.
    2. Registrants will receive an acknowledgment of course completion to show proof to a governing body that the course was completed. In addition, each registrant will have the course information added to their transcript upon completion.
