Sports Facilities Program

The Sports Facilities Education Program under the direction of the Sports Facilities Committee has been serving NIAAA members since 1992. The committee desires to provide a greater awareness among athletic administrators for sports turf safety and serves as a resource for athletic administrators relating to sports turf.

This DVD is a 2011 production with three units on one DVD. A serious happening in high schools and middle schools today with over 1.5 million reported incidents each year in our nations schools.

This DVD is a 2007 Risk Management production DVD with two chapters. The first is a six-minute video directed at parents and students-athletes, and warns of the inherent risks associated with participating in interscholastic athletics and activities; the second is a 15-minute presentation aimed at the coach and administrator which outlines the 14 legal duties coaches and administrators are bound by when working with young people.
